The Last Samurai

Watch the movie last night with the usual suspects, Jovan, Alexis and Kookie. We watched in Greenbelt 3. Alexis had free tickets we watched there even if it's far. Good movie. I'm not surprised that it gathered many nominations. It requires you to think, but it's not very deep that you totally won't understand it. My only complaint is that it had several, obvious pinoy moments. Now there were a lot of prolonged face shots and prolonged crying shots. But that's about it. I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, but I must say that he did well in this movie. For me, he was able to go beyond being Tom Cruise.
