USING HACKED ACCOUNTS.
Uso pa ba ito? It's just so annoying that people continue to use hacked accounts in order to go online. If you don't have money to go online, then don't go online. It's not like you won't survive without the internet anyway. If you do have money, then pay for your account. If you don't want to deal with the hassles of a postpaid account, then buy prepaid cards. Bottomline is, don't STEAL from someone else. You're no better than a thief who steals money in order to buy drugs. or whatever. And thieves who steal money in order to buy food for their family are definitely way better than you.
I admit that there was a time that I used hacked accounts. I learned the hard way though - my legit account got hacked and I was billed more than P70,000 by my ISP. It was impossible for me to reach that amount because I never used that account to go online, I really only kept it for the email addies. And so I had to deal with the ISP by faxing them a letter and following up so that they'll adjust the figure in my statement of account. That was such a hassle. After that, I swore never to use hacked accounts again.
Whenever you use a hacked account, you're actually stealing time from someone else. You're using up the hours allocated for the account. And because of you, the owner of the account will waste his time when he complains to the ISP and makes sure that the amount is written off. All for what? For you, for your usage, so that you'll be able to chat and email and surf and download.
C'mon. Think of the owner of that account. Don't be a thief. Stop using hacked accounts.

Visiting the PEx Classifieds forum is never good for me. I always end up wanting to buy something that I don't really need. I just came from there and now I want a pair of Oakleys. MIKA!
Last night I went to Misay's home in Sta. Rosa. Misay is a very good friend, and we go waaaaaaaay back. She has been my friend since I was in Grade 5. Misay got married to Chad last year, and I was even part of the entourage. (I caught the bouquet, can you believe? But that's another story.) Misay gave birth to Mika last May, and of course, I'm one of the godmothers. Her baptism will be on July 14.
It was the first time I saw Mika up close, and the first time that I touched her. I visited Misay the day she gave birth, and Mika was in the nursery, and I was only able to see her from the window. She was sick then, poor little thing. But last night, she was up and about, even trying to "converse" with us. She's a very nice little baby, very quiet, and she doesn't cry much. She only cries when she's wet and hungry, which isn't often. When I arrived in their home Misay was in the dentist's clinic, so I played with Mika for a while. I just stared at her. She was so beautiful, so pure and innocent. I couldn't help but kiss her feet every five minutes. I loved her smell - that natural baby smell - no cologne, perfume, nothing.
Misay said that you forget everything when you're a mom, or a parent. Your baby comes first. Before sleep, before work, before yourself. And even if it's hard, you don't feel it. You actually love what you're doing, and given a choice, though hard, you'll do it over and over again. She said that it would be perfect to raise your baby with the right man, and she said that it should be really a give and take thing. She's very lucky that Chad is so loving, and he helps her out even if he has work. He wakes up in the middle of the night and wakes up early in the morning just to take care of Mika. Misay said that she has so much respect for single parents because she cannot imagine raising her baby alone. These men and women are just heroes, she said.
I promise to treat Mika like my own child. I promise to be a good godmother, and I will see to it that she grows up to be a nice lady.
Once I get a picture of my beautiful godchild, I will definitely post it here.

PUGAD BABOY!
Any Pugad Baboy fans out there?
Me, I'm a fan! I have all the compilations. I just bought the 14th compilation of Pugad Baboy, entitled "Katorse". That comic strip never fails to amuse me and make me laugh. I guess its main strength is that it's about reality, here in the Philippines. What you read is what you see around you, every single day! For me, the artist, Pol Medina Jr. is such as genius when it comes to the Filipino way of life. It makes me wonder sometimes how he finds out about everything that he includes in his comic strip. Does he take notes as he goes around the Metro? Does he have a journal where he records what he sees every single day? Or is he simply observant and good at remembering? Whatever it is, he can perfectly tell the story of the Pinoy.
However, I think some of the strips chosen for the 14th compilation were pretty lame. These strips can be considered as slapstick, not the usual funny Pugad Baboy strip. Some were outright gross. I guess no one's perfect. Those were probably the days when PM Junior couldn't think of anything to write about. "Comic strip artists' block, if there is such a thing.

Brosia to Tiny, while giving her a massage: "Huwag ka nang mainggit sa mga supermodels na yan, Ate. Tandaan mo lang na, "Byuti is onli iskin deep"... Sa tagalog, ang masarap lang sa lechon e 'yung balat."
TV: "Ang susunod na tanong sa ating winner-take-all contest... Kung si FPJ ay DA KING, ano naman si Dolphy?"
Brosia: "DAKO. ...medy king."
Barbie to mom: "Ba't kayo sumigaw, Ma? Anong nangyari sa banyo?"
Mom: "May... may pinihit lang ako... t-tapos may bumuhos na malakas na tubig sa ulo ko!"
Barbie: "Ahh... 'shower' ang tawag don, Ma."
Barbie to Debbie: "Pasensya ka na kay Mama. Hindi pa kasi siya nakakaranas ng shower e. Taga Paranaque kasi siya."
Debbie: "Ohh.."

The Cross pen that I got for free at an event! Damn. Ganda pa naman nun.
3. What was the first CD you ever purchased? Does that embarrass you now?
"Fields of Gold" by Sting. Nope! The 2nd CD I purchased is the one that embarrasses me. "Bodyguard" soundtrack! Hahaha!
4. What is your favorite kind of writing pen?
None in particular. As long as the pen writes well, I'm okay with it. I really like Parker pens because they write well and they last long. Cross pens look good but the ink doesn't last.
5. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Depends on the brand of the ice cream. For Dip n Dots, I love strawberry and berries and cream. For Baskin and Robbins, I love Cookies and Cream. For Haagen Dazs, I love Macadamia. For Selecta, Cookie and Cream is it!

MINORITY REPORT
I just watched Minority Report yesterday and everyone is right. It's so cool! Story is great, acting is great, twists are great, technology featured were great - I guess to sum it all up, it was just AWESOME!
However, I talked about it with Gino and we decided that there were loopholes. And we also have unanswered questions. Lemme list them all down...
-Why did they choose the year 2054? Any year more than 2100 would have been more believable. I doubt if we'll have those kinds of cars and highways by that year. The computers? Possible.
-If Agatha was really good, why didn't she tell John to run earlier? Right after she told him to run the cops arrived.
-I think that the wife was too important a character to be 'introduced' that late.
Errr, we talked about more stuff but my brain is kinda fried already - too much work today. Til next time folks!

I LIKE SOCCER NOW!
I am now a soccer "fan". I totally enjoyed the finals of the World Cup! I've always thought that Soccer was boring since it's hard to score and the field is so big. But that match between Germany and Brazil was just DA BOMB! It was so exciting right from the very start!
Okay, here are comments from someone who doesn't know much about soccer...
I think that the first half was dominated by Germany since the ball was always with them. It's just that the defenders of Brazil were so good that the ball wouldn't even reach the goalie of Brazil. He was able to block the ball once though. Brazil had several attempts, but Germany's goalie, Kahn, was just so freaking good that they couldn't score.
On the other hand, the second half was dominated by Brazil because the ball was always with them. And they scored twice! Both by Ronaldo. I don't think it was Kahn's fault though, there was just no way for him to block those kicks. Oh well.
Cafu's smile was so cute when he lifted the trophy.

Hahaha, I just found out that Kahn won the "Golden Ball Award" while Ronaldo won the "Golden Shoe Award". Kinda self-explanatory.
If soccer is always like this then I'm surely gonna watch it regularly!
