South Beach
Hi guys! Need help. Do you have the actual recipe line up for the first two weeks of South Beach? The info I have is very general, from the website, which encourages visitors to sign up (paid membership) to get the more accurate information. Survivor Vanuatu
GO FBI AGENT BRADY!!! Mwah! Hahaha! He's my favorite! He's so cute! This bunch seems promising. I hope that this will be an exciting season - it's tough going after Survivor All Stars.

UAAP, for the last time this year. :(
I felt so bad after tuesday's loss, and really didn't care about the final four games anymore. But receiving a series of emails from the Alumni mailing list made me feel so good about the school so I watched the game on TV. The emails were not even about "we can still win!!!", it was about continuing to support the team, even with all the losses. Can't blame the crowd for feeling bad with all the losses. But those emails and text messages going around reminded us what the UAAP is all about. Congratulations to La Salle, they've been playing really well for the last 7 games (heck, they won 7 straight games). It's really just so hard to admire a team with so many ********. :) Casio is the only player I like in that team. Wish Cortez and Ritualo were still there - those players, I think, are admirable.

UAAP
Can't win with heart alone. I know that our players want to win so much, but heart isn't enough. Even before the season started, I was worried about our team because I felt that they weren't as talented or skilled as the other teams. And that was when Larry was there. Losing Larry was a huge blow, because he was the best player in the team! We won 7 straight games. Hey, no complaints here, but I still didn't feel confident. (I'm really a pessimist.) Anyway, from being number 1, we are now number 3, and we have to beat La Salle twice to get into the finals. That's gonna be tough! I hope that they can get through the next game - they should take it one game at a time. Still, it's ONE BIG FIGHT! The cheers will still be LOUD!
Amazing Race in the Philippines
At around lunch time, all my friends were asking me if I got to watch TAR 5 live. Nope, Charo, the huge fan, was not able to watch it live! (Too early for me, hehe.) I was waiting for the 6PM airing but unfortunately, the NCAA game got delayed, plus it went into overtime. Oh well. It was a great episode, as my friend Nikki said. And, [warning to those who haven't watched! SPOILER ALERT!] if you're a Colin-hater, you'll love this episode. It was so nice to see the jeepneys, the buses, Edsa, and the Coconut Palace! It was my first time to notice the escorts (were those escorts? Revo in front and policeman in motorcycle at the back?), or did they only have escorts in the Philippines? Anyway, can't wait for the last episode next week!

Not much hype, so I was surprised to see a Studio 23 commercial on Survivor 9. First episode is on friday, September 17, at 1PM. Time to check out the CBS website!
('Encountered' Vanuatu when I was researching on possible honeymoon spots. Hehe!)

Spaaaaah
Been regularly getting massages and foot spas lately. I'm planning to make it really regular - foot spa and massage every 2 weeks, and full body spa every month. Let's see if the budget can handle it. :)
I've never tried a full body spa yet, the services in The Spa looks interesting. I'm interested in the Javanese Royal Bath and the Honey Body Polish. I know it's expensive there, but it's the spa with really good reviews nearest our place. Let me know if you have suggestions! :)

One Tree Hill, and TV in general
I am now hooked! Jay, my TV-mate, do you watch this show too??? I used to always catch this on TV, watch a bit, then change the channel. So I kinda knew about the plot, but I didn't know the whole story. But after watching the last 2 episodes, I got hooked that I actually included it in my weekly calendar (with matching alarm). Moira Kelly is still very pretty, and the kids (guys) are very interesting. Can't say the same about the girls.
Sigh. I now remember Dawson's Creek at its peak. I was such a big Joey-Pacey fan! Well, those were the good ol' days. Have to make do with what we have right now. One Tree Hill's great. The O.C. is okay, but I'm not as interested.
Other shows I watch out for: CSI, Law and Order, The Practice, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, The Amazing Race 5, and Boston Public. Sometimes I do watch John Doe and Mutant X. :) I used to watch Nip/Tuck, but I found out that it has a short season so now I have to wait for the next one. :)

Wedding Expo at the NBC Tent
I really think that this is the best bridal fair. There are so many suppliers to choose from! There are even suppliers for services that you haven't thought about! These are suppliers offer discounts for bookings that are made within the 2 fair days.
The organizers had the brilliant idea of having a contest for the suppliers. The supplier with the most bookings and the supplier with the most earnings win a prize. This is actually a good marketing tool for the future expos - they will tell future potential suppliers that joining the expo is a good investment because they will have lots of bookings or at the very least, many leads. And with the best suppliers in town, more people will be interested in going.
I personally think that the organizers should seriously consider another venue, if possible. (Is there a good venue that's bigger than the NBC Tent? That is the question...) There were so many people yesterday that it was too crowded!
I got to meet several W@Wies at the W@W booth, and I saw our suppliers, some of them I consider my friends.
