Just visited the CBS website, and there's a page on The Amazing Race 4 already! Woohoo! Check it out!
Absent again today. I really couldn't get up this morning. It's good that I was able to go online right away, at least I can work a little.
I thought about it the whole day, and I've come to the conclusion that it's really stress. My maximum temperature is 37.5 C, but I really don't feel well, and my colds are really bad. I guess I got tired because of that one very, very stressful month (it started two weeks before Holy Week).
I have no choice but to rest again today.
(I'm watching Wild Thornberries right now, and the setting is the Philippines.)
Last night I watched "Nuts Entertainment" on Channel 7. It really sucked. It wasn't funny at all. If you ask me, I'd go for their old "Beh Bote Nga" if I really had to choose. Good thing CSI was on AXN.

This is the second time for me to get sick within the past two weeks. Not good. I'm wondering why. I've been taking vitamins. Is it the stress at work? I thought I was handling it well. But the last month has been hell. So many things going on at the same time! It doesn't help that I'm involved with almost all of the stuff here at work. It also doesn't help that my direct boss isn't here, and the boss assigned to our group now doesn't seem to see everything I'm doing. There's this one aspect of my job that I should improve on, I admit. And for me, it seems that this boss only sees that. Oh well. Tough luck for me.
It was pointed out to me that I should 'let go' today, because I'm sick. What happened was that my morning was all about text messages and calls. A LOT of calls. I just can't leave the projects hanging so I end up "working" on them somehow (working with quotation marks). The last time I was absent, I ended up being online from the house for 6 hours. I was still working, but from home. Thing is, I think I really need to rest, especially today. My head is aching so much right now, as I type.
I hope everyone's having a better time than me.

Happily Loving
What really makes a person happy? As for me, I am happy when I am with my family. I am happy when I take their photographs. I am happy when I make something for them. And, I'm happiest when I hug and kiss them. Have you said, "I love you." to the people dear to you?
I guess one common thing that makes everyone happy is love. From the loved one, friends, and family. The nice things they do for me, and even the nice things I do for them - never fail to put a smile on my face. I'm really happy whenever I see them happy. :)

"Long Weekend"
Thursday
Had a meeting at Smart last Thursday, May 1. Yes, May 1. The smart HR group of Smart decided that they should have work on May 1, and none on May 2 so that the employees can have a long weekend. Problem was that everyone else had work on May 2. Hung out in the afternoon, and had dinner in Napoli. I finally met the Portalettes. Cool bunch of people. Met Yoj, April, Romy, plus Mark and Petite. Of course Mira and Fiesta were there. Chegay called from the US. It was a good dinner, with good people, good food, and good kwento.
Friday
Had work last friday. Attended two REALLY long meetings - both lasted more than 3 hours. So Friday sucked. End of story.
Saturday
Bliss. Had lunch at Bubba Gump in Greenbelt 3. The food was great (didn't like the sandwich that much, though) and the service was just awesome. All the waiters greeted us as we entered the restaurant, and service was quick. Each table had plates which said "Run Forrest Run", and "Stop Forrest Stop". To call a waiter, you just had to display "Stop Forrest Stop".
Boat Trash was yummy! It had shrimps, mayi-mayi and lobsters, with French Fries. And their drinks looked really good. We ordered speckled lemonade - which was lemonade with strawberry. Drawback - it's really expensive there. I can't go there often 'cause I'm gonna end up with no moolah.
Sunday
Weather was so weird! On the way to mass the sky was dark, so we brought an umbrella. But after mass, at noon, it was so hot! Went home to Binan for the baptism of my neice, 'cause I was Ninang. It's funny 'cause she's the daughter of my Ninong (who's pretty young). So now I can call him Pareng Ninong, or something like that. My schedule was ruined because I was really supposed to go to the office to work for a while. Well, scrap that idea!
I went back to QC at around 7:30PM. Went to the wake of Mike's mom at Filinvest 1. There were so many people! It's really sad because Mike's mom was young, and she was very energetic. I guess God really has plans, and sometimes we don't understand them. But we really just have to accept. Imagine, before the wake, I just came from a baptism, the start of life.
Well, today's the start of another loooooooooooong week. Urgh I wish I was filthy rich so I didn't have to work anymore, to earn money. I would love to do volunteer work for the rest of my life.

How can something be a "guideline" if it's not in writing?
I pity those people who open up to someone, thinking that person is a good friends They just don't know what the other person is saying about them. It's okay to be civil especially if you don't have a choice, but it's different if you're already opening up, and being close.
Will we have work on May 2? I hope we can find out soon so we can start making plans.
Why do we blame other people when we are unhappy? And why do we let it out on other people, as if it's their fault when it's really not?
What's Japan like? And which Japanese ISP ends with co.jp, and ne.jp?
